New Zealand Honeymoon

So an un-traditional marriage deserved an un-traditional wedding. While our wedding was in June, we had to wait until late August to go on our honeymoon due to work schedules. So we made it count! We spent a full week in the northern part of New Zealand experiencing everything from Auckland itself, to the very tip of the island and the beautiful light house at Cape Reinga. We wanted to experience the full nature...as well as save some cash....so we rented a motor home and traveled all over. My absolute favorite place had to be Takapuna - but the Bay of Islands was an extremely close second. We saw museums, live dolphins, and many quaint little shops, along with the full city of Auckland. I LOVED IT! I'm hoping one day to actually live there. After a great week in New Zealand, we continued on to New Caledonia to pick up Gabe. We got to see Gabe's school, and his friends at school. The sunsets were amazing...along with the crepes! While I could hardly understand a word that was said (everyone there speaks French)...I can't complain. It was an island paradise. My pictures hardly do it justice. Enjoy the slide show!
